Position Overview

As a Senior Production Operator (MA3) at our Athenry facility, you will be an experienced, versatile operator supporting cleanroom and automated manufacturing lines to ensure CGM products are produced with the utmost safety, compliance, and quality. This weekend shift role involves 12-hour rotations in a 4 days on/3 days off and 3 days on/4 days off cycle, including Friday through Sunday plus alternating Thursdays, with a 20% shift premium.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and set up various automatic and semi-automatic machinery, including robotic assembly equipment used in CGM production.
  • Perform routine manual operations such as component handling, material loading, and assembly support tasks.
  • Conduct material handling, perform inspections, and complete quality verification and data logging activities.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in specific production areas, providing guidance and expertise.
  • Train incoming associates and aid in cross-training initiatives to develop team skills.
  • Assist line leaders and supervisors with communication, progress updates, and coaching support.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all quality systems and promptly report any deviations.
  • Maintain accurate quality documentation in compliance with GMP requirements for medical device manufacturing.
  • Follow all safety protocols and operate equipment in a manner that prioritizes workplace safety.
  • Cultivate cooperative work relationships to promote teamwork and shared success.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Completion of Leaving Certificate or Level 5 equivalent education.
  • Between 4 to 6 years of experience working in medical device or cleanroom manufacturing environments.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude complemented by proficient computer literacy.
  • Excellent communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, attention to detail, and ability to perform tasks independently.
  • High levels of dexterity and consistency in operational tasks are essential.
  • Capability in training and transferring knowledge to peers.
