This position leads cross-functional and organisation-wide work within NUS Enterprise's Ecosystem Strategy and Commercialisation team. What you will do

  • Oversee cross-functional initiatives from the start, partnering with relevant teams during joint execution before handing over primary ownership once the work is established.
  • Help leadership shape early-stage ideas by keeping discussions structured and documenting decisions, assumptions, and next actions clearly.
  • Monitor active workstreams, surface risks early, and make sure agreed actions are carried through.
  • Maintain visibility across live programmes by working with teams on outcomes measurement, programme lifecycle reviews, and opportunities for improvement and evolution.
  • Drive strategic workstreams on behalf of the Director, making independent judgement calls on approach and stakeholder engagement within agreed boundaries.
  • Carry out research and analysis that leads to clear recommendations and insights to support decision-making.
  • Represent the function in cross-functional forums where direct Director involvement is not necessary, ensuring continuity and alignment.
  • Build and document operational processes for new and existing programmes so they are practical, scalable, and adopted by the right teams.
  • Spot process breakdowns and work with stakeholders to implement improvements.
  • Prepare strong drafts of strategy decks, briefing papers, and stakeholder communications that need only light revision.
  • Tailor materials to the audience, including internal leaders, government bodies, and external partners.
  • Organise the rhythm of key meetings and check-ins across the function so they are productive and end with clear outcomes.
  • Coordinate engagements across internal teams and external partners, keeping relationships warm and follow-ups on track between senior meetings.
