About the Role
The Senior Director, International is vital in spearheading and enhancing The Coca-Cola Company’s collaboration with Marriott. This position shapes the international commercial strategy, fosters cohesion with customers and the broader system, and drives business value. Acting as a strategic liaison between Coca-Cola bottlers and system, this role aligns customer needs with enterprise insights, cross-system capabilities, and the global Coca-Cola network.
Additionally, the role manages the global Request for Proposal (RFP) strategy and process for Marriott outside North America, ensuring a unified and value-focused approach across all international markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and nurture the Marriott International customer relationship by leveraging strategic insight, senior stakeholder engagement, and cross-system collaboration.
- Oversee the entire long-term global RFP process for Marriott across international markets.
- Formulate and implement negotiation strategies that promote sustained growth and mutual benefits.
- Collaborate closely with customers, bottlers, and internal teams to align goals and deliver comprehensive business solutions.
- Function as a strategic partner to the North America account team supporting Marriott’s global expansion.
- Provide leadership across the Coca-Cola international network for the Marriott relationship.
- Maintain and deepen senior-level customer relationships while managing business performance and strategic priorities.
- Coordinate multi-functional execution across the Coca-Cola international system to ensure alignment with overarching objectives.
- Facilitate engagement across various organizational levels within Marriott to support strategy and execution.
- Lead interactions with Marriott’s continental teams and represent Coca-Cola in senior leadership discussions.
- Guide the annual business planning, governance, and performance review for Marriott account.
- Mobilize resources, expertise, and global assets to capitalize on customer growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Create collaborative business plans and investment strategies to encourage long-term growth for both companies.
- Assemble and manage a connected system team to identify new opportunities and strengthen partnerships.
- Work alongside global cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive Coca-Cola solutions supporting customer success.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
- Extensive experience in customer leadership, strategic account management, and operating within international markets and the Coca-Cola network.
- Proven track record leading large, cross-functional teams in dynamic client environments.
- Experience collaborating within the Coca-Cola system and adeptness in navigating a global enterprise setting.
- Cultural awareness and curiosity are essential.

Compensation
This role includes a competitive annual incentive valued at 30% of the base salary, aligned with market standards and performance targets.
