Senior Account Executive

Overview

This position of Senior Account Executive is based in Indore and entails comprehensive responsibility for payroll management and statutory compliance.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage complete payroll processes end-to-end for the workforce.
• Validate payroll data, conduct reconciliations, and ensure adherence to statutory rules.
• Calculate and appropriately deduct Income Tax (TDS) from employees' salaries.
• Handle filing and compliance for TDS returns diligently.
• Manage Professional Tax calculations, payments, and filing of returns.
• Administer the processing of full and final settlements for departing employees.
• Maintain accurate leave, attendance, and payroll records.
• Generate detailed payroll reports, management information systems, and reconciliations regularly.
• Collaborate closely with HR, finance teams, and employees to resolve any payroll-related inquiries.
• Ensure full compliance with all relevant payroll and labor legislation at all times.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess 4 to 5 years of direct experience in managing the full payroll lifecycle.
• Strong familiarity with payroll statutory compliances including TDS, Professional Tax, Provident Fund (PF), and Employee State Insurance (ESIC).
• Experience in performing payroll account reconciliations and filing statutory returns.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for payroll data management.
• Knowledge of SAP Payroll software will be considered advantageous.
• Demonstrate sharp analytical abilities and keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to effectively liaise with multiple departments.
• Educational qualification should be MBA, Chartered Accountant (CA), or CA Intermediate.
