Job Summary

The role of the School Photographer involves producing high-quality photographs of the school community, including students, faculty, and events. This person will work both independently and collaboratively to document school activities and support visual storytelling efforts and promotions.

Key Responsibilities

• Take professional-quality photos of students, employees, and various school events, such as sports days, cultural programs, annual celebrations, and classroom scenes.
• Arrange photography sessions in coordination with school staff and administration.
• Edit and enhance images using relevant software to ensure superior output quality.
• Organize and maintain a comprehensive digital library of photographs taken at the school.
• Work alongside the marketing team to supply imagery for digital platforms, newsletters, and promotional content.
• Follow the school's policies regarding consent and privacy when handling photographs.
• Keep photography gear well-maintained and ready for use.
• Contribute ideas to creative projects and the school's visual identity development.

Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated prior experience as a photographer, ideally with a background in educational or event photography.
• Expert usage of professional photography tools and image editing software like Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
• Strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in portraiture, candid, and event photography.
