About the Role
Penrose Learning Trust invites applications for a dedicated School Caretaker at our Claydon Campus located in Ipswich, IP6 0EG. This permanent role involves working 37 hours per week throughout the year on a rotating shift schedule. The annual salary is £26,016. This is an opportunity to contribute significantly beyond routine maintenance, ensuring the school environment is safe and conducive to learning for both students and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the campus by managing repairs and supervising external contractors to uphold facility standards.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations, maintaining accurate and current safety documentation.
- Support school activities including event assistance, waste management, and securing the campus to foster a welcoming atmosphere.
- Collaborate with estate management and school staff to promote ongoing campus improvements and a high-quality learning environment.
