Role overview

At Longford Forest, this fixed-term role invites you to step into Santa’s red suit and create warm, memorable Christmas moments for children and families. You’ll help deliver festive experiences through storytelling, greetings, photos and cheerful interactions in a range of seasonal settings.

Key duties

• Welcome children and families with a friendly, festive approach.
• Take part in the Woodland Workshop, Brunch with Santa and Santa’s Greetings.
• Stay upbeat and magical while answering children’s questions.
• Help ensure each visit feels special and memorable with smiles, photos and seasonal cheer.

Working arrangements

This is a fixed-term position running until 24 December 2026. Both full-time and part-time contracts are available, and the rota is fully flexible. You will be guaranteed a minimum number of hours across each 4-week period, but additional hours may be required depending on operational needs. Shifts can include evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Sunday hours are paid at a premium rate.

What we’re looking for

You should be naturally cheerful and comfortable engaging with both children and adults. Strong communication and rapport-building skills are important, along with the ability to portray Santa in a convincing, energetic and professional way. A friendly, outgoing attitude and genuine enthusiasm for Christmas are essential.
