About the role
This position sits within the Commercial / Sales Support team and works closely with Sales Team / Management. It is a full-time, on-site coordination role in a manufacturing environment, focused on keeping customer communication, internal follow-ups, and commercial records organized.
The organization manufactures tube mill and pipe production machinery. The selected candidate will act as a key link between customers and internal teams such as engineering, production, accounts, and purchase, ensuring that commercial processes move smoothly and nothing is missed.
Working schedule
Working hours are 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Saturday.
Key responsibilities
The role involves managing routine commercial communication, tracking customer and order updates, coordinating across departments, and maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Respond to enquiries, prepare quotations, confirm orders, and handle follow-ups in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate with engineering, production, and accounts teams to support smooth order processing and customer satisfaction.
- Keep client communications, offers, purchase orders, and order status records current and well organized.
- Monitor pending enquiries and open orders and follow up regularly so important tasks do not get overlooked.
- Assist with commercial paperwork such as quotations, proforma invoices, and order acknowledgements.
- Maintain a clear filing system for commercial documents in digital and/or physical form.
- Raise delays, concerns, or issues to the relevant team or management without waiting.
- Work with transporters and courier partners for quotations and dispatch coordination.
Required qualifications and skills
A graduate or diploma holder from any discipline can apply, including streams such as B.Com, B.A., B.Sc., or equivalent.
- Strong command of written and spoken English is essential.
- Ability to take ownership, use practical judgment, and work with common sense.
- Professional communication skills for both customer interaction and internal coordination.
- Good organization and attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
- Comfort with MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, and email.
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently with limited supervision.
- Prior exposure to sales coordination, commercial support, or customer service in a manufacturing or industrial setting is helpful but not compulsory.
