Retail Store Supervisor

Overview

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee a team of 3 to 4 staff members including apprentices, stages hands, and design teams
• Assign tasks and duties to sales workers
• Recruit, onboard, and facilitate training for new employees
• Authorize cheque payments and merchandise returns
• Place orders for inventory and maintain stock levels
• Create work schedules to ensure adequate staffing
• Participate actively in selling merchandise
• Generate reports on sales volume, merchandise, and personnel-related topics
• Address customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve supply chain issues
• Coordinate and supervise daily activities of workers

• Physical requirements include walking, sitting, standing for long periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling

Qualification

• Proficient in English
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Minimum of 1 year and less than 2 years of relevant experience in retail
