Restaurant Cashier

About the Role

Rainbow Tourism Group invites qualified and experienced candidates to join as a Restaurant Cashier at the New Ambassador Hotel in Harare. This permanent position reports directly to the Food & Beverage Supervisor and involves frontline interaction with guests in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve and respond to guest inquiries while effectively gathering their feedback.
• Ensure daily billing reconciliations are accurately completed and bills are properly processed after shifts.
• Carry out all cashier duties efficiently and in line with hotel standards.
• Maintain awareness and understanding of the hotel's emergency protocols.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management.
• Familiarity and hands-on experience with the Micros system is mandatory.
• A minimum of two to three years’ relevant experience in a comparable role.
• Strong planning abilities coupled with excellent customer service skills.
• Capacity to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Effective time management and high attention to detail.
• Solid business acumen.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal capabilities.
