Reservation Supervisor

About the Role

A prestigious luxury lifestyle hotel situated centrally in Dubai is looking to appoint a Duty Manager responsible for managing daily hotel activities and guaranteeing outstanding guest experiences. This position suits a hospitality expert skilled in guest management, operational oversight, and providing flawless service across various departments.

Key Duties

• Manage daily operations during assigned shifts ensuring service efficiency and smooth workflow.
• Serve as the primary contact for guest issues, complaints, and VIP service requests, ensuring prompt and effective resolutions.
• Collaborate closely with departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, and Food & Beverage.
• Supervise adherence to service standards consistent with luxury hospitality.
• Assist in emergency procedures and contribute to operational decisions when necessary.
• Motivate and lead the operations team fostering a culture focused on exemplary guest service.
• Compile operational reports, facilitate shift handovers, and document incidents accurately.

Candidate Profile

• Proven background as a Duty Manager, Assistant Front Office Manager, or Front Office Manager within deluxe or lifestyle hotel environments.
• Comprehensive understanding of Front Office operations and overall hotel management processes.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including guest relations, conflict resolution, and problem-solving.
• Experience managing VIP clientele and executing service recovery successfully.
• Strong leadership qualities, effective communication, and sound decision-making skills.
• Familiarity with Opera PMS or similar hotel management software preferred.
• Hospitality experience in UAE or GCC regions is highly valued.
