Quantity Surveyor

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join a Leicester-based residential groundworks company with an annual turnover of £20 million. This permanent role offers a salary of up to £60,000 annually, plus benefits including a car allowance or company car. The successful candidate will work within the commercial team, managing multiple ongoing and tender-stage projects, with possibilities for career growth and potential hybrid working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

• Maximise profitability of contracts.
• Prepare quotations for client variations.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of residential groundworks.
• Produce precise monthly cost and valuation reports.
• Perform all other daily duties typical of a Quantity Surveyor.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor specifically in residential groundworks.
• Strong time management capabilities, with ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience in value engineering.
• Competency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
