QA/QC Engineer - UAE

Overview

This recruitment drive focuses on identifying quality-oriented candidates who excel technically and fit culturally within a leading client organization. The roles involve hands-on experience at construction sites, emphasizing quality assurance and control throughout various projects.

Positions Available

• 3 QA/QC Engineers (Electrical) for a large-scale mixed-use mega development in Abu Dhabi
• 2 QA/QC Engineers (Civil) for a major civic and commercial development in Ras Al Khaimah
• 2 QA/QC Engineers (MEP) for a luxury residential project in Palm Jumeirah, Dubai

Core Duties

• Perform daily surveillance on-site to identify and report deficiencies preventing their recurrence
• Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure compliance with Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), inspection schedules, and comprehensive quality documentation
• Develop detailed inspection timelines in line with overall project schedules and monitor inspection progress
• Coordinate inspection activities among execution teams, consultants, and subcontractors, ensuring thorough data capture and documentation
• Carry out material inspections utilizing electronic workflow systems to verify specification compliance; isolate and remove non-conforming materials from the site
• Partner with execution teams to enforce corrective measures addressing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and other identified issues
• Conduct internal inspections to validate the success of preventive strategies
• Work closely with Firestop Engineers to guarantee fire life safety activities conform to specified requirements and regulatory authorities
• Review and track weekly and monthly deliverable statuses, monitoring planned versus actual approvals and re-submissions
• Lead snagging and de-snagging inspections together with subcontractors and the project execution team

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering field is required
• A minimum of five years of experience within construction environments focusing on QA/QC
• Comprehensive understanding of QA/QC methodologies, inspection and testing procedures, and construction techniques
• Excellent analytical capabilities paired with strong communication skills
