About the Role
Join Rendall & Rittner as a Property Inspector covering areas such as Southampton, Bournemouth, Southport, and Portsmouth with a hybrid working arrangement focused primarily on site visits. This position involves conducting 4 to 6 thorough inspections daily to ensure communal spaces, building infrastructure, and services meet safety and maintenance standards. You will identify risks promptly and work closely with contractors, site personnel, and residents to resolve issues efficiently.
Support is provided by a dedicated property management team, and a car allowance of £4,000 per year is included alongside the salary. Ideal candidates have experience in property management, site inspections, or maintenance, especially those with a hands-on approach and enthusiasm for fieldwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform multiple structured inspections each day documenting findings with photographs and clear reports.
- Monitor safety compliance including communal areas, fire safety, and accessibility.
- Identify, prioritize, and manage maintenance requirements, coordinating with contractors and onsite staff.
- Engage with residents and site teams to grasp concerns and communicate updates effectively.
- Ensure completion and quality of remedial works through diligent follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare concise reports to keep stakeholders informed.
- Organize daily schedule balancing urgent and preventive inspection activities.
