Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Take charge of managing design projects including coordinating among multiple design disciplines.
• Lead and oversee all aspects of office operations and facilities management, including evaluating staffing and resource needs.
• Optimize personnel utilization, ensuring alignment between project requirements and employees' opportunities for professional growth.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to junior design team members.
• Carry out comprehensive project management responsibilities.
• Support the Regional Manager in expanding the practice by increasing office workload, broadening client relationships, enhancing local service offerings, and exploring new markets.
• Lead with marketing to develop and deliver proposals and presentations.
• Foster excellent client relationships and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
• Engage actively in local professional organizations and motivate team participation.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Massachusetts or the capability to obtain licensure.
• A minimum of ten years of experience encompassing conceptual, preliminary, and final design phases, including plan production.
• Knowledge of Massachusetts Department of Transportation standards, project delivery processes, and design guidelines.
