Role Overview

The Production Operator role, reporting to the Production Supervisor with a start date in September 2026, involves working the 12-hour night shift in a front-end capacity. Shift patterns include Monday to Wednesday plus alternate Thursdays on a 4-on/3-off – 3-on/4-off rotational schedule. Operating within a cleanroom environment, you will be instrumental in manufacturing Dexcom's life-changing CGM products using semi-automated and fully automated machinery ensuring exceptional quality and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and oversee semi-automated and automated production equipment to achieve consistent output and high standards.
• Conduct routine manual operations including component handling, material loading, and assembly assistance as necessary.
• Carry out precise assembly tasks requiring dexterity and maintain steady production performance.
• Perform in-process inspections to verify product quality.
• Complete packaging, labeling, material logistics, and accurate data recording.
• Adhere strictly to GMP, SOPs, batch records, and cleanroom procedures, ensuring thorough documentation.
• Immediately report deviations, defects, or safety issues and contribute to quality and yield improvement targets.
• Collaborate effectively with supervisors and team members to facilitate smooth shift transitions and communication.
• Promote a workplace culture emphasizing safety, quality, and continual enhancement.
• Meet training milestones and consistently achieve production and quality key performance indicators.
• Demonstrate reliability, precision, and compliance with standardized processes at all times.

Eligibility and Requirements

• Minimum educational attainment of Leaving Certificate or Level 5 equivalent.
• At least 2 years' experience in medical device manufacturing or other regulated production environments.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedural guidelines.
• Comfortability with performing repetitive, hands-on assembly tasks with high dexterity.
• Basic computer proficiency and mechanical aptitude.
• Strong communication skills, punctuality, adaptability, and a team player mentality.
• Legal eligibility to work in Ireland.
• Commitment to task efficiency and timeliness.
• Note: Candidates advancing to interview stages will undergo a dexterity assessment.
