Procurement Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Procurement & Strategic Sourcing Specialist to manage the entire sourcing lifecycle. The role involves supplier identification, selection, contract negotiation, and executing procurement strategies focused on cost optimization and delivering maximum business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand and gather procurement requirements.
• Design and implement sourcing strategies that align with organizational goals.
• Identify potential suppliers and conduct onboarding for goods and services procurement.
• Handle the entire process of RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, supplier assessments, and selecting vendors.
• Lead negotiations around pricing, contract terms, and other commercial aspects to secure cost-effective deals.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with suppliers, continuously monitoring their performance.
• Oversee the contract lifecycle ensuring compliance and adherence to procurement governance standards.
• Perform detailed market research, cost modeling, and analyze spending patterns.
• Detect potential procurement risks and deploy risk mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to guarantee timely procurement execution.

Necessary Skills and Qualifications

• Proven expertise in strategic sourcing and procurement operations.
• Experience managing vendor and supplier relationships effectively.
• Skilled in contract negotiation and contract management processes.
• Competent in category management and managing RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes.
• Ability to conduct spend analysis and cost assessments.
• Strong stakeholder management capabilities.
• Proficient in carrying out market research and risk management activities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business or related discipline, Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in procurement, strategic sourcing or supply chain, with preference for candidates accustomed to large, global, or matrix organizations.

Additional Information

The position requires a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, with overall 8 years desired. The role is based in New Delhi and mandates a five-day in-office working schedule.

Employees must comply with mandatory Provident Fund (PF) regulations applicable to all companies.
