Procurement Coordinator

Role Overview

CANDIDZONE is looking for a Procurement Coordinator to support logistics and supply chain operations in Doha, Qatar. The role centers on coordinating shipments, handling shipping and customs-related paperwork, and helping track costs and budgets across freight activities.

Key Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline is needed.
• You should bring 3 to 5 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain coordination.
• Practical understanding of import and export documentation, customs clearance steps, and international shipping processes is required.
• Experience in freight pricing, logistics budgeting, and cost evaluation is expected.
• Knowledge of Incoterms and international trade practices is important for this role.
• Exposure to Dangerous Goods rules, paperwork, and handling standards is strongly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with ERP platforms and Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, is required.
• You must have strong analytical thinking, organization, and problem-solving capability.
• Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills are essential.
• The ability to juggle several shipments and competing priorities in a busy environment is necessary.
• A valid Qatar driving licence will be considered an added advantage.
• Applicants must have a valid QID and NOC.
