Role Details

• Location: Wiri, Auckland
• Shift: Monday to Friday, 3pm to 11pm
• Employment Type: Permanent full-time
• Work arrangement: Onsite

Key Duties

• Manage the operation of industrial cooking and automated production machinery.
• Handle complex robotic equipment involved in packaging snacks into bags and boxes.
• Keep precise records and input production data into computerized systems accurately.
• Conduct flavour testing to ensure product quality aligns with specifications.
• Perform quality assurance checks and oversee material and waste management.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in processing, food manufacturing, or working in industrial kitchens or cooking environments.
• Knowledge of HACCP and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) with a track record of safety and reliability.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a food production team and contribute to achieving food safety objectives.
• Enthusiasm to develop a career in food manufacturing with Bluebird Foods.
• Must have full legal rights to work in New Zealand full time.
