Role Purpose

We are looking to engage a vigilant and proactive Loss Prevention Officer whose primary responsibility is to prevent theft and ensure a safe environment for both customers and staff members.

Work Schedule

• Sunday and Monday: 8:00am to 4:30pm
• Tuesday: 8:00am to 2:30pm
• Wednesday: 1:30pm to 8:00pm

Key Duties

• Observe security cameras continuously.
• Maintain a visible and approachable presence on the sales floor.
• Engage with customers and respond to any concerns they may have.
• Log incidents and events on the crime reporting platform.
• Conduct expiry date checks throughout the grocery section.
• Perform any additional tasks as directed.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous security experience is necessary; experience in customer service roles like retail or hospitality is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Effective communication and computer skills, including comfortable data entry.
• A positive mindset combined with eagerness to learn and the ability to stand for prolonged durations.
• Competence in conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques, remaining calm under pressure is highly valued.
