Job Overview

This position involves handling freight within the warehouse by loading and unloading shipments, scanning, and sorting packages in the facility.

Qualifications and Skills

  • High school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Familiarity with FedEx Canada operational procedures and Canadian customs regulations is desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 70 pounds and maneuver packages weighing up to 150 pounds using appropriate equipment.

Work Requirements and Conditions

The role requires successful completion of all initial and ongoing training programs and maintaining necessary annual certifications. Operators must efficiently use PC/Windows environments and perform recurrent tasks consistently. Work schedules may vary depending on business needs. For residents in Quebec, bilingual proficiency in French and English is mandatory.

Candidates for roles involving driving must possess a valid driver's license (e.g., Class 5, G, or 1 [AZ]) with no more than two violations or accidents in the past 24 months prior to application. Selection will consider current driving records, interview performance, and driving skill assessments.
