About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC Gen3) Technical Consultant with significant experience in designing, developing, and deploying comprehensive integration solutions leveraging Oracle Integration Cloud. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of IT experience, with at least 3 years specifically in Oracle Integration Cloud, working with Oracle SaaS applications and third-party platforms to deliver efficient, secure, and scalable cloud-based integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and architect integrations utilizing Oracle Integration Cloud (Gen3).
- Collaborate directly with clients to analyze requirements and convert them into practical technical implementations.
- Create integrations using REST and SOAP adapters, orchestrations, and event-driven integration patterns.
- Leverage advanced features of Gen3 such as enhanced observability, optimized performance, and updated runtime environments.
- Engage in solution architecture, effort estimation, and detailed technical discussions.
- Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and performance optimization of integration solutions.
- Manage deployment processes, release cycles, and production environment rollouts.
- Ensure compliance with Oracle best practices and integration frameworks.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams across Oracle SaaS modules including ERP, HCM, and SCM, as well as external systems.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 5 years total IT experience, with at least 3 years hands-on in Oracle Integration Cloud (preferably Gen3).
- Proficient in building end-to-end cloud integrations.
- Strong knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs.
- Expertise in XML, XSLT, and JSON data handling.
- Experienced with various OIC adapters such as ERP, REST, FTP, and Database adapters.
- Familiarity with integration design patterns including synchronous, asynchronous, and publish-subscribe.
- Knowledge of error handling mechanisms, fault policies, and monitoring capabilities within OIC.
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment pipelines and release management.
- Background working within Agile methodologies and customer-centric delivery models.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with SOA Suite, SOACS, or Oracle Service Bus (OSB).
- Exposure to Oracle Process Automation and Process Cloud Service (PCS).
- Familiarity with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and Business Process Management (BPM).
- Understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services and cloud-native design patterns.
- Involvement in large-scale or phased project implementations.
