Overview
Join one of New Zealand's rapidly expanding technology companies as an Operations Coordinator based in Auckland. Reporting directly to the VP of Operations, this position offers a unique opportunity to gain insights and hands-on experience across multiple facets of the organization, including executive operations, governance, human resources, compliance, vendor management, and continuous business improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage business operation workflows, reporting, and leadership meeting cycles.
- Administer board, leadership, and governance documentation and processes.
- Oversee people operations, including employee onboarding and HR system management.
- Support SOC2 compliance initiatives and enhance operational readiness.
- Handle vendor relationships, contracts, and operational administration tasks.
- Coordinate office operations, company events, and initiatives to boost team engagement.
- Lead ongoing process improvements and operational projects to drive efficiency.
Candidate Profile
This role is well-suited for someone early in their professional journey who thrives on variety and is eager to develop diverse skills. Ideal candidates will showcase a curious mindset, initiative, and the flexibility to contribute across different functions.
- Possess a recent MBA, technology or business degree, or equivalent experience in operations, coordination, business support, or human resources.
- Able to confidently handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Adapt quickly to learning new technologies and digital platforms.
Experience with SaaS or technology firms, AI tools, BambooHR, HubSpot, or knowledge in information security and compliance is advantageous.
