Operating Theatre Technician

Job Overview

We seek dedicated professionals to uphold safety and quality standards in the Operating Theatre (OT) environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough housekeeping following Infection Control guidelines.
• Inspect and ensure quality of all medical equipment and accessories.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of equipment and environment within the Operating Room (OR).
• Support surgeons by assisting in patient transfer and positioning during procedures.
• Deliver safe and competent peri-operative care under nurse supervision.
• Accurately document and update inventory records.

Required Qualifications and Conditions

• At least GCE "N" or "O" Level certification or an equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in a related role or possession of WSQ Higher Certificate in Healthcare Support (Operating Theatre) is advantageous.
• Comfortable engaging in direct patient contact.
• Willingness to work in rotating 3-shift patterns including weekends.
• Position level and remuneration will reflect prior relevant experience.
