Jumeirah International Nurseries, a part of the Fortes Education family established in the UAE since 1981, is a renowned British Early Childhood Centre with over 40 years of experience. Operating across 10 branches in Dubai and Sharjah, it provides holistic Early Years education for children aged 45 days to 6 years, including FS1, FS2, and Year 1. The nurseries are recognized for delivering premium educational standards, holding ISO 9001 and ISO 21001 certifications, and have been awarded 'Nursery of the Year' by Mother, Baby and Child Awards (2021-22).

The Role

Due to ongoing expansion, the Early Childhood Centre in Sharjah is seeking a committed and experienced Nursery Manager to lead its operations. This leadership role entails overseeing academic and operational activities to realize the organization's vision while enhancing enrolment, managing staff recruitment and retention, and supervising financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management of the Early Childhood Centre ensuring alignment with the Fortes Education vision.
• Drive enrollment growth across diverse programmes offered by the nursery.
• Recruit, retain, and nurture staff development to maintain high-quality educational delivery.
• Implement and oversee a robust EYFS/IPC curriculum enriched with play-based learning, integrating approaches such as Reggio Emilia and Curiosity, supported by Fortes’ Accelerated Learning initiatives.
• Maintain facilities at exceptional standards compliant with Sharjah Private Education Authority, SEHA, Sharjah Municipality, and other regulatory bodies.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a bachelor’s degree or a postgraduate qualification in Early Childhood Education, or a Level 5 vocational certification.
• Minimum of three years’ experience working in an Early Childhood setting with proven management success.
• In-depth knowledge of childcare legislation and operational standards.
• Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a strong professional work ethic.
