Network Engineer - Remote Contract

Job Overview

This is a remote hourly contract opportunity for a skilled Network Engineer to work between 10 to 40 hours a week. Compensation ranges from $50 to $70 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze real operational data from deployed network infrastructures, including logs, configurations, telemetry, and event streams.
• Identify, label, and categorize various network behaviors, issues, anomalies, and incident patterns to aid in understanding network performance.
• Contribute to designing schemas and data structures for large-scale pipelines that support machine learning model development.

Candidate Requirements

• Extensive experience at Level 3 or Tier 3 support for network systems.
• Practical exposure to managing enterprise customer networks encompassing switches, access points, and firewalls.
• Strong knowledge and expertise in Wi-Fi and wireless technologies, including enterprise WLAN controllers and wireless troubleshooting techniques.
• A keen interest in converting raw network infrastructure data into meaningful inputs for machine learning applications.
