Job description

Position Overview

As a National Registry Officer located in Wellington, you will be integral to supporting individuals navigating the New Zealand Justice system. This permanent, full-time role involves direct customer interaction on court-related inquiries and efficient management of case information to facilitate timely court hearings.

Key Functions

  • Provide exceptional customer service as the initial contact point for all court-related questions, including jury duty queries and hearing details.
  • Manage case files responsibly, ensuring that judiciary members and involved parties receive all necessary information for smooth proceedings.
  • Exercise delegated authority as a Deputy Registrar of the District Court, processing applications and correspondence in line with legislative requirements.
