Multi Technician

Role overview

This is a full-time, on-site Multi Technician position in Doha, Qatar. The role focuses on keeping building systems running smoothly through routine inspections, upkeep, and repairs across basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment, while working within operational and safety guidelines.

Key responsibilities

The technician will handle maintenance requests, diagnose technical faults, and work with supervisors and other technicians to reduce downtime and support day-to-day facility performance. The job also includes completing work orders, looking after tools and equipment, recording all services and repairs correctly, and supporting preventive maintenance activities. From time to time, the role may require assistance with small installation or upgrade tasks.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ability in basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general mechanical maintenance suited to a multi-skilled technician position.
• Comfort with reading technical manuals, diagrams, and maintenance instructions, along with safe use of standard hand and power tools.
• Background in facility maintenance or building services in commercial, residential, or industrial settings.
• Strong troubleshooting ability, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage several work orders efficiently.
• Clear communication and teamwork skills for working with supervisors, coworkers, and on-site clients.
• Availability to work on-site in Doha, Qatar, including occasional longer shifts, shift-based work, or emergency call-outs when needed.
• A technical diploma, trade certificate, or vocational training in maintenance, engineering, or a similar area is preferred.
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and the ability to follow health, safety, and company rules.

Work conditions

This position is based on-site in Doha and may involve extended hours, shift work, or emergency attendance depending on operational needs.
