Job description
Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled MIG Welder proficient in Metal Inert Gas welding techniques for mild steel, stainless steel, and various metal parts. The candidate will be responsible for setting up and handling MIG welding equipment, ensuring accurate parameter settings to produce high-quality welds.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding tasks on diverse metals including mild steel and stainless steel
- Configure and operate MIG welding machines, selecting suitable wire and shielding gas
- Adjust machine settings such as voltage and wire feed rate to match welding requirements
- Interpret engineering blueprints and adhere strictly to welding specifications
- Conduct welding, grinding, fitting and carry out quality inspections of completed welds
