About the Role

Join Hansen Auto Services, a respected independent workshop in Queenstown, New Zealand, as a skilled Mercedes-Benz Van Technician. This is a permanent, hands-on technical role focused on servicing and repairing Mercedes-Benz vans, offering visa sponsorship for suitable international candidates. Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and technical issues on Mercedes-Benz vans.
• Conduct routine servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Execute engine overhauls and repairs, including turbochargers, intake manifolds, and EGR systems.
• Carry out major and minor transmission repairs.
• Utilize diagnostic tools to accurately identify faults and technical problems.
• Ensure all work complies with manufacturer standards and workshop quality requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with the workshop team and maintain a safe working environment.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• At least five years of practical experience specifically working with Mercedes-Benz vans.
• Proficient mechanical and diagnostic capabilities to perform thorough repairs and diagnostics.
• Demonstrated expertise in engine rebuilds, turbocharger replacements, intake manifold and EGR system repairs, and transmission work.
• Experience predominantly focused on Mercedes-Benz vans, not passenger vehicles or heavy trucks.
• A strong willingness to relocate and establish a long-term career in New Zealand.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and dedication to quality workmanship.
