Key Duties

• Keep the department tidy, well-organized, and correctly sectioned to ensure readiness for customers at all times.
• Regularly rotate inventory and remove products that are expired or unsuitable for sale.
• Accurately price and label all merchandise, adhering to company procedures for ordering, markdowns, and signage.
• Comply with food safety standards, including temperature monitoring, proper food handling, and maintaining cold chain integrity.
• Prepare deli products by taking customer orders and using equipment like slicers, rotisserie ovens, and fryers safely and efficiently.
• Follow all health and safety protocols to sustain a clean, hygienic, and safe workplace.
• Be flexible to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support store operations.

Challenges Associated with the Role

• Manage high workloads in a fast-paced environment while staying focused and energized, including during overnight shifts.
• Handle physical requirements such as extended standing, bending, lifting items up to 50 lbs, and repetitive stocking and organizing with precision.

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is $16.95 per hour.
