Role Overview

The Manager, International Customer Supply Chain, will be crucial in ensuring an exceptional experience for customers and retail partners of rhode’s expanding international operations. This role requires collaboration across Sales, Demand and Supply Planning, Finance, Operations, international distributors, and retail partners to coordinate order management, inventory flow, product launches, and overall supply chain performance across various international markets.

Operating within a fast-growing and evolving environment, the role demands strong analytical capabilities, effective communication, and the agility to manage immediate operational tasks alongside long-term process enhancements. A particular focus is on cultivating relationships with key retail partners, understanding their supply chain needs, facilitating promotion and innovation planning, mitigating risks, and leveraging customer data to improve stock availability, fulfillment, and service levels.

Core Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison for rhode’s international distributors and retail customer operations, managing day-to-day supply chain needs and market-specific requirements.
• Continuously identify and implement improvements to customer supply chain processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and drive sales volume.
• Gain in-depth knowledge of international distributors and retail partners’ distribution frameworks, operational needs, key performance indicators, and inventory planning protocols.
• Utilize strong analytical tools (Excel, PowerPoint, NetSuite, Tableau) to generate qualitative and quantitative reports that inform business decisions.
• Maintain awareness of retail distributor policies, systems, and operational procedures.
• Ensure smooth order processing and on-time delivery to international distributors, retailers, and customers, emphasizing innovation rollout and market expansion.
• Provide weekly sell-in performance data versus forecasts and highlight any risks potentially impacting monthly or quarterly plans to Finance, Sales, and Operations teams.
• Track weekly sell-out data and in-stock levels collaboratively with Demand Planning and Sales leads.
• Work with international distributors and retail supply chain and planning teams to drive order adjustments or new orders ensuring adequate inventory coverage as necessary.
• Monitor and report key supply chain metrics such as fulfillment rates, in-stocks, service levels, on-time deliveries, and identify potential chargeback risks.
• Collaborate across internal departments and external partners to align strategies and identify supply chain improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to demand forecasting efforts to enhance accuracy and optimize inventory management.
• Influence product assortment decisions by analyzing market research, analytics, consumer and customer intelligence to maximize sales and productivity.
• Partner with international teams, distributors, and stakeholders to support new market entries, expansion of regional assortments, and maintain operational excellence.
• Integrate internal functions to enhance supply chain performance metrics such as fill rate, delivery timeliness, and program execution while reducing chargeback potential.
• Educate and align internal teams about international customer expectations, distributor needs, retailer requirements, and best practices for execution.

Candidate Profile

• Possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, or a related analytical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in roles involving customer supply chain, retail operations, customer logistics, demand or supply planning, or related operational management.
• Direct experience working with Sephora and/or other international prestige beauty retailers.
• Proven background supporting cross-border retail, distributor, or global customer supply chain operations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong relationship-building skills with retail partners and ability to collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to achieve goals.
• Capable of making informed decisions in uncertain, limited, or evolving data scenarios.
• Experience managing supply chain requirements across multiple countries, distributors, or regions.
• Must be willing to undertake international travel as required.

Additional Details

• Work location is based in the United Kingdom and European Union.
• International travel is a required part of the role to support business needs and visits to head offices.
• The salary range for this position is between £67,000 and £82,000 annually.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range indicated above represents the base pay. Total compensation encompasses the base salary, annual company bonus program, and equity participation. The bonus program offers employees potential earnings of up to 200% of the target bonus if company goals are exceeded. Employees are also eligible for comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, retirement savings plan, gender-neutral parental leave, and unlimited paid time off. Compensation packages are tailored based on geographic location, experience, skills, and qualifications, and are subject to change by management.
