Location Overview

Located on Paradise Island, The Ocean Club, A Four Seasons Resort, Bahamas, has been a distinguished destination since 1962, cherished by celebrities and discerning travelers alike. The resort features 14 hectares (35 acres) of Versailles-inspired gardens bordering a pristine 8-kilometer (5-mile) white sand beach.

Guests enjoy private balconies, Balinese-style spa villas, world-class golf, and dining by Michelin-starred chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. The resort offers various activities such as snorkeling, sailing, windsurfing, golf, tennis, and spa treatments, all enveloped in an ambiance of relaxed Bahamian elegance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain all hotel equipment to ensure minimal downtime by performing daily maintenance under Engineering Management's direction while strictly adhering to fire and safety protocols.
• Continuously improve engineering services to address issues affecting guests and staff efficiently.
• Share knowledge and train colleagues to support their growth and enhance team capabilities.
• Develop independence in mechanical tasks by diagnosing problems and devising prompt, high-quality solutions; maintain cleanliness in engineering areas.
• Complete work orders and attend to guest requests independently; have fundamental knowledge of the hotel TV system and basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Communicate with supervisors to ensure timely availability of materials, tools, and supplies; monitor inventory and report shortages.
• Carry out minor plumbing repairs, maintenance of chilled water fan coil units in guest rooms, and basic wallpaper repairs.
• Possess comprehensive understanding of guest room safe lock systems, including emergency lock access procedures.
• Perform basic painting, furniture repairs, sliding door lock fixes, drapery maintenance, and guest bathroom tile and hardware repairs.
• Execute all reasonable duties as assigned by management.
