About the role
EBARA Precision Machinery Europe (EPME) is part of a global group that supports advanced semiconductor manufacturing. The business works with leading micro-chip manufacturers and contributes to technologies used in IoT, cloud infrastructure, silicon production, 5G, autonomous vehicle sensors, flat panel displays, smartphones, and tablets. The organisation has more than 19,000 employees worldwide and a team of over 200 people across 8 countries. This position is based at the customer site in Leixlip, Ireland, where you will help install, maintain, and service equipment to keep production running reliably.
The company is seeking an ambitious, hands-on professional who wants to contribute to a growing industry, work with a strong team culture, and support customer success through dependable field service work.
What you'll do
- Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, as well as start-up activities, on Ebara Components equipment, including pump rack systems, vacuum pumps, gas abatement systems, and trace heating systems.
- Work with customers and third-party partners to coordinate maintenance and IQ-related activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment problems, including both hardware and software issues, and make sure systems are ready for production handover.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of completed work in the required systems.
- Complete routine preventive maintenance by following written procedures.
- Escalate technical concerns to colleagues when support is needed.
- Spot and report issues that could affect maintenance or IQ schedules.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with site environmental, health, and safety standards.
- Take part in planning and scheduling discussions when required.
What we're looking for
- A Level 6 qualification in a technical area such as mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation.
- Prior experience maintaining equipment is advantageous.
- A practical, hands-on approach to technical troubleshooting.
- Experience with low-voltage electrical systems.
- Ability to interpret P&ID drawings and electrical circuit diagrams.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
- Good IT skills.
Compensation and benefits
The package includes a competitive base salary, a 30% shift allowance, a discretionary bonus, contributory pension, and medical cover for you and your family.
