About Genesis and the Role
Genesis is dedicated to supporting communities and a sustainable energy future through every action we take. We're seeking a Class 2 Driver to join our LPG team at the Drury Depot, delivering LPG cylinders to both residential and commercial customers while assisting with daily depot tasks.
Responsibilities
- Begin each day by reviewing your delivery manifest and adjusting the truck’s preloaded goods accordingly.
- Deliver LPG cylinders safely to customers, ensuring collection of empty cylinders during routes.
- Engage positively with customers on behalf of Genesis, providing friendly and dependable service.
- Assist with depot activities such as stocktaking, cylinder maintenance and filling, as well as cleaning trucks.
- Adhere strictly to safety regulations in handling LPG and driving vehicles.
Qualifications and Personal Attributes
- Hold a clean Class 2 driver's licence.
- Have minimum six months of driving experience.
- Experience in goods delivery, preferably involving customer interaction.
- Possess a Dangerous Goods endorsement or willingness to complete the training.
- Physically capable of safely handling heavy LPG cylinders.
- Strong focus on safety, with a practical and solution-oriented mindset.
- Dependable, flexible, and maintains a positive, customer-focused attitude.
- Excellent communication skills.
Work Schedule
This is a Monday through Friday position typically starting between 6:00 and 6:30 a.m., finishing mid-afternoon, with occasional Saturdays and paid rostered on-call weekends.
