Role Overview

This position suits a skilled logistics expert passionate about resolving challenges, optimizing workflows, and making significant improvements. Reporting to the Global Operations Manager, you will oversee international freight activities, inventory management, and logistics administration across various countries. You will interface closely with operations, finance, and external teams to ensure smooth product flow, cost efficiency, and procedural enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage both domestic and global freight operations in several regions
• Track incoming shipments and inventory from manufacturing to warehouse intake
• Address and resolve discrepancies related to freight, duties, and logistics proactively
• Examine freight expenditures to find cost-saving and process improvement opportunities
• Coordinate with offshore logistics partners, warehouse teams, and internal departments
• Collaborate with the finance team to verify freight invoices and reconcile logistics expenses
• Maintain precise records and reports of inventory
• Assist warehouse operations and support stock relocations when necessary
• Help drive the implementation of more efficient logistics and operational procedures
• Deliver dependable operational support and confidently oversee logistics tasks as needed

Candidate Profile

The desired candidate possesses both technical logistics know-how and a proactive mindset. Ideal qualifications include:

• Previous roles in logistics, supply chain, or operations management
• Experience handling international freight and shipping protocols
• Knowledge of import duties, freight documentation, and invoice reconciliation processes
• Strong analytical abilities to investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Meticulous attention to detail with a curious approach to problem-solving
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel and comfortable navigating various software systems
• Experience collaborating with offshore manufacturers or international suppliers
• Ability to work autonomously while engaging effectively with cross-functional teams
• A positive, hands-on attitude with readiness to assist wherever required

Experience in fashion, apparel, consumer goods, or other product-based enterprises with offshore production is highly regarded.
