Job Summary

Seeking motivated individuals eager to advance their careers who enjoy autonomous work, travel, and outdoor environments. This role entails significant travel and on-site duties primarily involving inspection and testing services related to street lighting within the UK's highways sector. Competitive fixed salary with opportunities for additional pay through overtime and allowances is offered.

Job Locations

Positions are available across various regions including Derby (Midlands), Devon, and Hampshire.

Role Responsibilities

  • Perform structural inspections and conduct testing on highway lighting columns.
  • Engage effectively with clients and team members to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Precisely record electronic test results adhering to UKAS accredited standards for reporting purposes.
  • Collect and manage data concerning highway infrastructure assets.
  • Carry out investigations related to corrosion of lighting structures.
  • Represent the company professionally while on client sites.

Training and Support

Comprehensive training will be provided to equip you with the necessary knowledge and skills.

Candidate Requirements

  • Possession of a valid full UK driving license as company vehicles are used for client site travel.
  • Ability to manage a diverse range of tasks and workloads.
  • A genuine interest and enthusiasm for the field of highway lighting inspection.
  • Strong communication skills to contribute effectively within a team and impact operations positively.
  • Willingness to work remotely away from home as required.
  • Experience in comparable roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Holding a HERS ECS card and HEA NVQ level 2 qualification is desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual salary ranging from £27,102 to £31,800, dependent upon experience and location.
