Learning and Development Officer

About the Role

Egatee Online Nigeria is seeking a dynamic Learning and Development Officer to lead and expand our corporate training initiatives. This role requires proactively delivering training sessions, cultivating a network of facilitators, and attracting new clients to grow our learning and development business.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify potential clients, pitch training solutions, and secure new contracts to increase revenue.
• Design annual and quarterly training schedules that align with client demands and market trends.
• Recruit, onboard, and oversee a team of subject matter experts and trainers to ensure high-quality training delivery.
• Organize and occasionally facilitate workshops, in-house sessions, and public training programs.
• Innovate by proposing new training products, formats, and strategic partnerships to expand the L&D offerings.
• Collaborate with clients to accurately assess their training needs, recommend solutions, and maintain client satisfaction.
• Monitor key performance indicators, training goals, financial targets, and gather feedback to report on departmental outcomes.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of three years’ experience in learning and development, corporate training, or consultancy roles.
• Established connections with a diverse pool of trainers and facilitators experienced in essential competencies.
• Proven ability to attract and secure corporate clients for training engagements.
• Expertise in curriculum development, training facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Goal-oriented with creativity, comfortable in both sales and training delivery roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, Psychology or a similar discipline; professional HR or training certifications are advantageous.
