Role Overview

The position seeks a Lead Data Analyst focused on marketing to manage and improve reporting systems spanning credit card products, financial services, and marketplace verticals. The role requires close collaboration with teams including Yield Management, Paid Media, and Account Management to generate insightful analyses, test assumptions, and recommend data-supported strategies. The ideal candidate will transform complex data into actionable intelligence affecting strategic planning and operational excellence, with potential for growth into a strategic analytical partner helping predict trends and optimize outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee comprehensive reporting infrastructure to ensure reliable, consistent, and accessible data delivery.
• Work with business units to gather requirements and translate them into intuitive reports and dashboards.
• Create standardized reporting workflows and strategize for dependable data models and sources.
• Develop complex LookML models or equivalent in BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau, understanding downstream impacts.
• Analyze historical campaign data, creatives, offers, seasonality effects, and customer acquisition cost to identify performance drivers.
• Engage stakeholders to detect reporting inconsistencies and improvements.
• Promote data literacy through training and support across teams.
• Proactively identify data quality issues and facilitate corrective actions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to surface insights that drive business growth and campaign optimization.
• Present clear, actionable recommendations to influence leadership and operational decisions based on data analysis.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years' experience in business intelligence or data analytics with emphasis on performance or affiliate marketing.
• Expert-level skills in SQL and handling complex, unstructured data sources.
• Strong proficiency in managing and owning reporting outputs and promoting data standardization.
• Advanced expertise in LookML or similar dashboard development tools like Power BI/Tableau.
• Curiosity about business drivers paired with sharp analytical mindset to ask insightful questions.
• Experience managing end-to-end data pipelines from ingestion through dashboard deployment.
• Ability to build effective partnerships with business stakeholders to drive data-based decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex analytics to technical and non-technical audiences alike.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary range of $120,000 to $150,000, disbursed semi-monthly.
