Role Purpose and Responsibilities
The LD&T Assistant Scheduler is responsible for managing all internal warehouse activities, ensuring accuracy in stock handling, and optimizing labor productivity. This role involves coordinating with store personnel for efficient stock allocation to facilitate smooth order preparation and invoicing processes.
- Conduct comprehensive shift handovers, detailing any outstanding tasks.
- Manage offloading and loading operations by completing checklists accurately and reporting to storekeepers.
- Assign tasks to laborers to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Supervise stock integrity during loading, identifying discrepancies such as incorrect labels, missing or excess cases, and empty pallets.
- Perform daily physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies with store personnel.
- Ensure adherence to hygiene standards per established checklists.
- Collaborate with forklift operators to optimize storage arrangements and uphold the FEFO (First Expiry First Out) method.
- Provide detailed shift handover to the succeeding team, noting pending jobs and special instructions.
- Maintain warehouse equipment, ensuring proper use and documenting scheduled maintenance.
- Implement and continually improve the Environmental, Health, and Safety Management System within the area of responsibility, complying with legal requirements, PepsiCo standards, and EHS targets.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum two years of experience in supply chain roles, preferably within FMCG sectors, with cross-functional exposure.
- Experience in labor-intensive environments is advantageous.
- High school diploma from any faculty.
- Self-driven individual with the ability to identify issues and implement corrective measures proactively.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Proficient in supervising and managing labor across multiple functions.
- Capable of systematic and flexible problem-solving.
