Kitchen Helper

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to join our team at Kovai Kitchen Llp in Mangalore, Karnataka. The ideal candidate will assist in various kitchen activities, supporting the cooks and maintaining hygiene and efficiency in food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities

• Support cooks during food preparation processes.
• Wash, chop, and ready vegetables, meats, and other ingredients.
• Prepare simple food items under guidance.
• Serve food and manage plating.
• Accurately pack orders for takeaway and online delivery.
• Ensure kitchen stations remain clean and orderly.
• Replenish ingredients and supplies at cooking areas.
• Properly receive and store groceries and raw products.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene protocols at all times.
• Help with opening, closing, and inventory counting when needed.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team following the Head Cook’s directions.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience in a restaurant setting is preferred.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-moving environment.
• Team-oriented attitude with eagerness to learn.
• Reliable, disciplined, and hardworking work ethic.
