The position is ideal for individuals eager to grow their skills in game development and artificial intelligence-assisted programming within a startup-like environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop new game features and improve existing systems.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and fix bugs to enhance overall game quality.
- Write clean, understandable, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Engage in continuous learning by asking questions and seeking regular feedback.
- Gain confidence working within a large shared codebase through mentorship and hands-on experience.
- Work in partnership with cross-functional teams including designers, artists, QA, and producers.
- Communicate progress clearly and support team collaboration.
- Use AI development tools responsibly to speed learning and enhance code quality.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong enthusiasm for gaming and crafting engaging player experiences.
- Programming experience acquired via education, self-led projects, game jams, or personal development.
- Solid understanding of C# programming and Unity engine fundamentals.
- Interest and curiosity regarding AI-assisted programming tools, e.g., GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT.
- Proactive attitude coupled with effective communication and a team-oriented approach.
