Your Role

As a member of our AI Engineering team based in Berlin with hybrid work options, you will architect, develop, and enhance scalable AI systems and data pipelines, advancing projects from proof-of-concept stages to stable production environments with capabilities like monitoring and evaluation. Your work includes building intelligent agentic AI frameworks that reason, utilize tools, and coordinate among multiple agents using platforms such as LangGraph, CrewAI, and ADK. You'll design and implement data ingestion pipelines, retrieval-augmented generation architectures, embeddings, and semantic search mechanisms integral to AI performance. Additionally, translating complex AI decision processes into comprehensible insights for broad stakeholders is essential. Rapid prototyping and deployment on cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure will be part of your responsibilities.

Candidate Profile

• Experience or interest in agentic AI frameworks and orchestration patterns including ReAct, tool usage, and multi-agent collaboration.
• Proficiency with large language model APIs, prompt engineering, retrieval pipelines, semantic embedding, agent memory, and integration protocols like MCP.
• Strong orientation towards production-grade systems on major cloud providers, encompassing monitoring, logging, evaluation of task success, and safety measures.
• Excellent coding skills in Python with solid fundamentals in software engineering and backend API design, including collaborative development practices such as pull requests, code review, and CI/CD pipelines.
• A consulting mindset adept at translating business challenges into technical solutions.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; German proficiency is considered an advantage.

Additional Details

• Full-time role with a 40-hour workweek.
• Contract duration is initially two years with possibility for extension.
• Office location is in Berlin with a hybrid working model.
