Job Overview
Join Pilot Flying J as a Janitorial Maintenance Technician in Byron, GA, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and operational upkeep at our travel center. This position offers a dynamic work environment focused on excellent guest service and teamwork, with varied daily responsibilities and opportunities for cross-role training within our centers and restaurants.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure overall cleanliness throughout the store and surrounding areas.
- Clean and maintain shower and restroom facilities to high standards.
- Wash, load, and unload towels used in shower areas efficiently.
- Conduct general store maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
- Collect and dispose of trash around the travel center premises.
- Deliver exceptional guest service by maintaining well-kept facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Self-motivated individual with strong initiative.
- Team player capable of working collaboratively.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including nights, days, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar janitorial or maintenance role.
- Familiarity with industrial equipment and basic repair skills.
Compensation and Benefits
Starting pay ranges from $11.85 to $17.25 per hour.
