Role Overview
This position is fully remote within the United States, working Pacific Time hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Although Pomelo is primarily remote, the company maintains offices in NYC and SF, which some employees occasionally utilize.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop an accessible and intuitive technology environment that supports fellow employees effectively.
- Provide primary IT support coverage during West Coast business hours for a mostly remote workforce, including employees at NYC and SF offices.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes by provisioning user accounts, dispatching equipment, and retrieving devices when employees leave.
- Enforce security measures across platforms such as Okta, Slack, and Google Workspace to protect patient information.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in IT support or operations roles.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with a user-focused and empathetic approach.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively, supporting late-day coverage reliably.
- Proficiency in administering systems like Okta, Google Workspace, and Slack.
- Experience supporting Apple devices in a remote setup, including familiarity with MDM solutions like Iru or Jamf and managing the device lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications
- Automation experience using Okta Workflows, Slack Workflows, or BetterCloud.
- Familiarity with Slack-based IT ticketing platforms.
- Knowledge of security and compliance tools such as Vanta or Drata.

Compensation
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $85,000 to $115,000 annually. Eligibility for equity grants provides ownership in Pomelo’s mission. Final compensation depends on experience, skills, and qualifications.
