Infrastructure Support Specialist

About the role

Pinkerton is looking for an Infrastructure Support Specialist to strengthen its IT environment in Gurugram. The position focuses on building reliable infrastructure support that improves day-to-day operations through effective management of hardware, software, networking, and Azure Cloud services.

What you'll do

• Demonstrate Pinkerton’s values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence in everyday work.
• Investigate and fix hardware, software, and network problems in a timely manner.
• Administer IT systems and infrastructure so they continue to meet internal standards and business goals.
• Set up and support infrastructure solutions built on Azure Cloud.
• Apply security controls and keep a close watch on infrastructure to protect company information.
• Work with different teams to plan, improve, and support technical solutions.
• Keep accurate records of systems, workflows, and technical procedures.
• Handle additional tasks as assigned.

What we're looking for

• A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a similar field is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in IT support or a closely related function.
• Strong knowledge of system administration and network administration.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud and virtualization tools.
• Certifications such as Azure Administration, Azure Security, MCSE, or CCNA are highly preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical ability.
• Clear communication skills in both spoken and written form.
• Comfort working independently as well as within a team.
• Good attention to detail and solid organizational habits.

Working conditions

This role requires the ability to perform all essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation. Occasional reaching, lifting small objects, operating office equipment, and adjusting focus between near and far vision may also be required.
