Hygiene Skilled Operative

Overview

We seek a knowledgeable hygiene operative to join our team focused on maintaining outstanding cleanliness standards within our factory environment.

Role Summary

This key position requires ensuring all post-production cleaning tasks meet hygiene protocols and adhere strictly to safety, hygiene, and quality guidelines. Responsibilities include executing daily, weekly, and scheduled sanitation activities. Weekend shift work is required according to a rotation schedule.

Shift Schedule

• Monday to Thursday: 21:30 to 05:30
• Friday: 19:30 to 02:30

Compensation

The pay rate offered is £14.00 per hour.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the factory in accordance with hygiene specifications following the completion of daily production.
• Verify this equipment is functional and in good condition before the shift commences.
• Promptly report any deviations or non-compliance issues to the designated site supervisor.
• Always comply with good manufacturing practices during all work activities.

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience in a food production setting is beneficial.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their characteristics.
• Basic mechanical ability for identifying faults.
• Experience adhering to company standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Proficiency in basic literacy and numeracy for completion of production monitoring records.
• Strong time management skills and capability to work reliably with minimal supervision in assigned areas.
• Exceptional attention to detail, critical to support factory startup and maintain high hygiene standards.
