Overview
We are seeking an experienced HR Digital Specialist for Airbus in Singapore to support digital transformation initiatives across the Asia Pacific region. This role acts as a catalyst for digital innovation within Human Resources by orchestrating AI and digital technologies to enhance HR data management and decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Explore, propose, and deploy AI agents, chatbots, digital workers, and machine learning models to automate and optimize HR workflows including sentiment analysis, talent acquisition, and workforce planning.
- Collaborate closely with HR stakeholders and data analysts to understand business needs and convert them into detailed technical specifications for AI-powered solutions.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify actionable trends and insights to inform AI model development.
- Continuously monitor, evaluate, and fine-tune AI implementations to maintain high standards of accuracy and effectiveness.
- Maintain awareness of advancements in AI, machine learning, and data engineering to integrate innovative techniques.
- Design and manage middleware solutions bridging tools such as Workday and payroll systems; develop data pipelines to ingest, transform, reconcile, and securely store HR data.
- Improve data architecture for scalability and performance optimization.
- Serve as the technical liaison for HR within IT and data teams ensuring smooth integration and scalable infrastructure.
- Adapt global architectural blueprints for regional application across APAC.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security protocols, Responsible AI principles, GDPR, EU AI Act, and internal AI governance frameworks.
- Engage regularly with AI governance bodies and regional HR digital leadership to align strategic initiatives.
- Define boundaries for AI autonomy versus human oversight in decision-making processes.
- Provide technical training and ongoing support to HR teams on digital tools and AI solutions.
- Guide HR teams through capability assessments prior to new tool deployments.
- Lead initiatives to review and improve HRIS systems and processes by integrating digital and AI advancements.
- Test, implement, and optimize new HR technology platforms, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and data integrity.
- Manage vendor relationships for HR tech solutions.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all HR technology systems and processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related quantitative disciplines; equivalent professional experience is also considered.
- Certifications in AI and Machine Learning (e.g., Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer) and Data Engineering (e.g., Google Certified Professional Data Engineer) are advantageous.
- At least 6 years of professional experience in HR-focused AI, ML, or data engineering roles with a proven track record of successfully deployed AI/ML models.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform or AWS, including AI and data engineering services like Vertex AI, AutoML, BigQuery, S3, or Data Factory.
- Proficiency in Python programming, utilizing libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
- Hands-on experience with data engineering tools like Spark, Airflow, Databricks, and ETL processes using PySpark, Scala, Git.
- Strong understanding of data privacy, security best practices, and governance, especially concerning sensitive HR data.
- Excellent communication skills to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Project management and organizational capabilities to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving aptitude and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
