Role Overview

The Housekeeping Supervisor position is a permanent, full-time role based on-site in Paje. The supervisor will manage the daily housekeeping operations covering guest rooms and public spaces. Key duties include leading housekeeping and laundry teams, scheduling tasks, upholding cleanliness, safety, and brand standards, inspecting rooms and facilities, coordinating laundry and inventory supplies, and addressing guest needs promptly. This role requires active floor presence to boost team efficiency and ensure excellent guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise housekeeping and laundry staff, allocating daily assignments and overseeing work quality.
• Ensure all guest rooms and public areas meet established cleanliness and safety criteria consistent with brand expectations.
• Inspect rooms and public spaces regularly to maintain high standards.
• Manage linen and amenity supply logistics and coordinate laundry operations.
• Respond swiftly to guest requests and resolve service issues.
• Train new and existing team members and maintain orderly work schedules.
• Collaborate closely with Front Office and Maintenance departments.
• Keep accurate records of housekeeping activities and inventory.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven supervisory skills with experience in team leadership, delegation, and performance evaluation.
• Solid understanding of housekeeping practices for both guest rooms and public areas, including cleaning techniques and equipment use.
• Experience managing laundry processes including linen handling, washing, and ironing.
• Strong communication and customer service capabilities to interact effectively with guests and coworkers and professionally resolve concerns.
• Previous hotel or resort housekeeping supervisory experience is preferred.
• Capacity to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, with physical stamina for standing, walking, and light lifting.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities and dedication to safety, health, and hygiene compliance.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management systems and familiarity with housekeeping or property management software is advantageous.
• Hospitality or housekeeping-related vocational training or certification is a plus.
