Job Overview and Responsibilities

The Heat Treat Helper plays a vital role in supporting the heat treatment process for drill pipes by applying identification marks and assisting with multiple lines. This role requires adherence to safety and quality standards, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting equipment upkeep.

• Apply stencils, paint, and stamps to drill pipes following standard operating procedures.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Carry out all tasks safely complying with company safety and quality protocols.
• Support operations on more than one heat treat production line.
• Perform basic maintenance on equipment to ensure smooth operations.
• Cut test specimens per shop orders to be forwarded to the Metallurgical Laboratory.
• Provide operator role coverage when necessary.
• Work under varying weather conditions, including adverse elements.
• Remain standing for extended periods, up to 12 hours.
